Mark's Wish

Mark, 10, diagnosed with an immunodeficiency disorder, wished to be a zookeeper because he lives and breathes animals and dinosaurs.

Mark and his family drove to the Toronto Zoo where he got to be a zookeeper for the day! He got to feed river hippos and touch them (they feel slimy to the touch).

Then he was able to see and feed Pezwalski horses; they are the only true wild horse that is still in existence. Their keeper Gavin also looks after the camels so he got to see and feed the camels. Mark was ecstatic!

But the day wasn't over yet, as he went to Stingray Bay and got to touch an actual stingray (they feel as soft as velvet).
