Jaelynne's Wish

Jaelynne, 11, loves to smile. She laughs when she hears something that makes her happy and she loves to move her shoulders to dance to music. She lives with a genetic disorder, and wished to go to Hawaii with her family. They had the an amazing time being together and doing nothing but enjoying the beautiful ocean and warm weather.

“This wish has allowed our family to enjoy a much needed family vacation and well deserved bonding experience,” said Jaelynne’s parents. “We were able to relax and enjoy each other’s company without stress of medical appointments, school, work and bills.”

Jaelynne especially enjoyed playing in the water. She floated on a paddle board and swam and splashed with dolphins (which happily splashed her back). “Our wish team thought of everything, even more than we could have imagined.”

Jaelynne’s parents said their trip was “better than winning the lottery” for them.  They have a very busy family life so just being together and playing, looking for seashells, enjoying the ocean, and walking on the beach was refreshing and enjoyable. They loved making memories together as a family.  “Everyone was accommodating not only for our daughter Jaelynne but for our other 3 children as well. It was beautiful to see that the trip brought them all closer. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect family vacation.”
